GEORGETOWN, Ky., Aug. 10 (UPI) -- First-round selection Chris Perry and the Cincinnati Bengals agreed Tuesday to terms on a contract.
Perry joined his new teammates in training camp Tuesday afternoon. The 26th overall pick in the 2004 draft was expected to sign a six-year deal worth about $7 million.

Perry was named the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Year after he gained 1,589 yards rushing and an additional 366 yards receiving this past season. His mark of 132.4 rushing yards per game was the fifth highest average in the nation.
