Jon Rauch pitched six innings in his Expos debut. Rauch (1-0), who was acquired from the White Sox in July, allowed three runs on seven hits.

Mike Lamb had a two-run triple to highlight Houston's offense. The Astros have now lost three of their last four games and will be without starting shortstop Adam Everett, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list prior to Saturday's game with a broken bone in his left wrist.

Houston starter Andy Pettitte, who was in search of his third win in five starts, did not factor into the decision.
