Hull signs with Phoenix

GLENDALE, Ariz., Aug. 6 (UPI) -- The Phoenix Coyotes announced Friday they had signed veteran winger Brett Hull to a two-year contract.

The Dallas Stars were in the chase to sign the high-scoring free agent, but Hull reportedly opted for the longer deal. Dallas was offering just one year.
