SYLVANIA, Ohio, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- Karen Stupples, who won last week's Women's British Open, fired a 6-under 65 Thursday to lead after one round of the Jamie Farr Classic.
Se Ri Pak, winner of this tournament four times, shared second place at 66 with U.S. Women's Open champion Meg Mallon.

Brandie Burton, Catriona Matthew, Yu Ping Lin, Marisa Baena and Angela Jerman were tied for fourth at 67.
Stupples birdied two of the first three holes to ignite her hot round.
"I am still on a high," she said. "I keep having to pinch myself. The way I played last week gave me a lot of confidence in how I managed myself around the golf course."
