MLB: Minnesota 6, Anaheim 3

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Justin Morneau and Jacque Jones highlighted a three-run sixth inning with homers Wednesday night as Minnesota won its second straight over Anaheim, 6-3.

Kyle Lohse (5-8) gave up three runs on nine hits and struck out four to pick up the win. Joe Nathan got the final three outs for his 31st save.

The loss went to Ramon Ortiz (3-7), who gave up six runs on 11 hits in 6 2/3.

Morneau put the Twins in front for good in the sixth with a leadoff homer. Torii Hunter then doubled and came in on Jones' home run.

Minnesota has won four straight and eight of its last nine.
