ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Boston beat Tampa Bay 5-2 Tuesday behind the pitching of Curt Schilling, who won his 13th game of the seson.

Schilling pitched his third complete game, allowing six hits.The Red Sox have won six of nine.

Bill Mueller drove in three runs for Boston and Jason Varitek hit a two-run home run.

Rocco Baldelli hit a solo homer for the Devil Rays.

Rob Bell (4-5) was the losing pitcher, allowing seven hits and five runs in six innings.
