MLB: Atlanta 6, NY Mets 5

ATLANTA, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Atlanta outfielder Andruw Jones had a homer and four RBI Sunday to lead the Braves to a 6-5 victory over the New York Mets and a three-game sweep.

Eli Marrero went 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Braves, who have won five in a row and nine of their last 10. Chipper Jones added three hits and two runs scored, as Atlanta has won nine of 12 at home.

Reliever Tom Martin, acquired from Los Angeles prior to Saturday's trade deadline, made his debut for Atlanta and pitched the NL East leaders out of a seventh-inning jam.

Cliff Floyd hit a three-run homer and rookie David Wright connected on a solo shot for the Mets, who have dropped 14 of 19. Mike Cameron also had a homer for New York.

Tom Glavine continued to struggle against his former club, dropping to 1-5 in the last two seasons against the Braves.
