MLB: Houston 10, Arizona 3

HOUSTON, July 27 (UPI) -- Roy Oswalt gave up two hits over seven shutout innings and Adam Everett had two solo home runs Tuesday as the Houston Astros won, 10-3, over Arizona.

Jeff Bagwell hit a three-run homer as Astros got their fifth win in seven tries. Jeff Kent was 3-for-3 with a two-run homer.

Oswalt (10-8) struck out five and walked only one.

Edgar Gonzalez (0-3) was hit hard for the third time in three big league starts. He allowed six runs on eight hits and three homers in only four innings.

Everett started the scoring with homer in the first; Oswalt helped had an RBI single in the second; Gonzalez walked the leadoff man in the third and Bagwell hit his 14th homer; and in the home fourth, Everett slammed his second home run of the game with two outs to extend the lead to 6-0.
