MLB: Florida 11, Philadelphia 3

MIAMI, July 26 (UPI) -- The Philadelphia Phillies fell 1-1/2 games off the NL Eaast lead Monday in an 11-3 loss to the Florida Marlins.

Luis Castillo was 3-for-4 with a walk, drove in three runs and scored three times and Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run homer to pace Florida.

The Marlins have beaten Philadelphia 20 of the last 23 games, dating back to 2003.

Jeff Conine jump-started Florida with a three-run double in the first inning.

A.J. Burnett (2-5) pitched five innings for the win. The righthander allowed two runs on eight hits with six strikeouts and three walks.

Jimmy Rollins homered and Chase Utley had three hits for the Phillies, who fell 1 1/2 games behind Atlanta.
