DENVER, July 20 (UPI) -- San Diego won for the fourth time in five games Monday, pounding the Colorado Rockies 13-6.
Mark Loretta drove in three runs and Terrence Long homered and drove in two runs for the Padres, who ran up a 12-2 lead by the sixth inning.

Loretta batted 4-for-5.
Ismael Valdez batted 2-for-3 and pitched 5 2/3 innings for his ninth victory against five losses this season.
The Rockies got a pair of home runs from Jeromy Burnitz and a homer by Larry Walker,
