BRIDGEPORT, W.Va., July 17 (UPI) -- D.A. Points had a four-under 68 on Saturday for a six-stroke lead through three rounds of the Pete Dye West Virginia Classic at 21-under-par 195.
Vance Veazey was in second place with a seven-under 65 for minus-15. Darron Stiles and Nick Cassini share third place at 14-under-par 202. Nick Watney and Patrick Damron are one stroke further back at minus-13.
Points fired a 10-under 62 on Friday.
"It didn't feel as good as yesterday, but I still hit a lot of quality shots," said Points, who hit just nine of 18 greens in regulation on Saturday. "I can't complain. I'm going to stick to the same game plan of hitting fairways and greens."
