ENDICOTT, N.Y., July 15 (UPI) -- Kelly Gibson shot an eight-under 64 Thursday that gave him a one-shot lead after one round of the B.C. Open.
Challenging for the lead was the father-son combination of Craig and Kevin Stadler.

Kevin Stadler, a two-time winner on the Nationwide Tour this season, shot a 65. John E. Morgan, who lost a playoff to Mark Hensby last week at the John Deere Classic, shared second with Stadler, Todd Fischer and Camilo Villegas.
Craig Stadler, who won this event last year after turning 50, was tied for 10th at 67.
