MLB: Boston 14, Texas 6

BOSTON, July 10 (UPI) -- Manny Ramirez had two homers among four hits and the Boston Red Sox roughed up Kenny Rogers en route Saturday to a 14-6 victory over the Texas Rangers.

A starter in the outfield for the American League in Tuesday's All-Star Game, Ramirez hit a two-run homer over the center field wall off Rogers in the second inning. He added a two-run blast off former Red Sox John Wasdin in the third and completed his big night with an RBI single in the fifth.

Ramirez leads the AL with 26 homers and is tied for the league lead with 77 RBI.

The Red Sox had 21 hits Nomar Garciaparra and Mark Bellhorn each added two-run homers and four hits for the Red Sox, who opened an 11-6 lead after three innings.

In the first three innings, Johnny Damon, Bellhorn, Garciaparra and Ramirez were 11-for-12 with four homers and 10 RBI.
