BBM: Oakland 6, San Francisco 2

SAN FRANCISCO, July 3 (UPI) -- Damian Miller hit a tying RBI double in the eighth and Mark McLemore had an RBI single in the ninth Saturday as Oakland beat San Francisco, 6-2.

San Francisco took a 2-1 lead into the eighth inning and Felix Rodriguez entered with one out and nobody on base. Jermaine Dye, who had four hits, greeted him with a single.Miller's double scored Dye with the tying run.

Matt Herges (4-3) replaced Rodriguez to start the ninth and pinch hitter Eric Karros doubled with one out. After Mark Kotsay grounded out, McLemore's single gave Oakland its first lead.

Scott Hatteberg followed by reaching on second baseman Ray Durham's error that allowed pinch runner Ramon Castro to score. Dye added an RBI double and scored on Crosby's single that chased Herges.

Oakland reliever Justin Duchscherer (4-1) pitched a pair of scoreless innings for the victory.
