BOSTON, June 24 (UPI) -- Minnesota scored with the help of a Nomar Garciaparra error in the 10th inning Thursday and beat the Boston Red Sox 4-3.
The Boston shorstop made a bad throw to first baseman Kevin Millar on a grounder up the middle by Christian Guzman, who reached second when the ball bounced into the stands. Guzman later scored the go-ahead run off Red Sox closer Keith Foulke (2-1)
