Tampa Bay's streak matches the longest in the American League over the last two years and has the Devil Rays within two games of .500 this late in the season for the first time in their seven-year history.

Hendrickson (5-5) gave up one run and five hits in six innings. Victor Zambrano pitched a hitless seventh in his first relief appearance of the season. Jesus Colome got Danny Bautista to bounce into an inning-ending double play in the eighth.

Crawford led off with a single, stole second, moved up on a groundout and put the Devil Rays ahead on a sacrifice fly by Rocco Baldelli. In the third, Crawford doubled with two out and scored when Robert Fick tripled.
