MONTREAL, June 18 (UPI) -- Carlos Lee recorded his second four-hit game of the season and slugged a two-run homer Friday night to power the Chicago White Sox past Montreal, 11-7.
The Expos have lost seven straight.
Since his 28-game hitting streak ended Wednesday, Lee had been hitless in nine at-bats. But he drilled his sixth homer of the season in the first inning, doubled, drove in four runs and scored three.
Ayala (0-6) surrendered four runs and five hits in two innings.
White Sox starter Mark Buehrle was vying for his seventh straight win, but was battered for five runs in the first inning. He left with the game tied after yielding seven runs and 10 hits in six innings.
