LOS ANGELES, June 16 (UPI) -- Swingman Dijon Thompson announced Wednesday he will return for his senior season at UCLA and will not enter the NBA draft.

Since he did not sign with an agent, the 6-7 Thompson had until Thursday to remove his name from the underclassmen list for the draft.

Thompson made his decision after attending the pre-draft camp in Chicago last week.

"Going to Chicago was a good experience for me," Thompson said. "I was advised that one year back in school, to develop my body and touch-up skills, will put me in a better position next year to hopefully get into the first round."

Thompson was UCLA's leading scorer last season, averaging 14.4 points.
