Webb leads LPGA Kellogg-Keebler Classic

AURORA, Ill., June 5 (UPI) -- Karrie Webb shot an 8-under-par 64 on Saturday and vaulted to the top of the leaderboard after two rounds of the LPGA Kellogg-Keebler Classic.

Webb's 11-under 133 is two shots better than Jill McGill and Seol-An Jeon of Korea.

After an opening round 69, Webb had the best round of the day on Saturday, riding her putter to one of her best rounds of the year.

Webb rolled in an 18-foot birdie putt at No. 2. From there she made eight more birdies and only one bogey.

McGill carded a 67 Saturday. The round was highlighted by two eagles and McGill is in contention for her first LPGA title.

Jeon also shot a 67.

Two-time defending champion Annika Sorenstam of Sweden started the round back in the pack. But she shot a 66 Saturday and pulled into a two-way tie for fifth.
