Cevaer was two shots out of the lead at the beginning of the round and ended up with a 9-under-par 271 and a one-shot victory over David Park of Wales, Ricardo Gonzalez of Spain and Swede Peter Hedblom.

The two eagles came on shots from the fairway on Nos. 1 and 16.

"It's fabulous and I'm just really happy that my perseverance has paid off," Cevaer said.

Cevaer had an injury in 2002 that threatened his golf career. He broke his right elbw while snowboarding and was only able to play in six events that year.

Park had led the first three days but shot a 40 on the front nine of the final round and ended up with a 2-over 72.
