MLB: Baltimore 7, Tampa Bay 6

BALTIMORE, April 22 (UPI) -- Melvin Mora delivered an RBI double in the seventh and scored the go-ahead run Thursday night as Baltimore rallied for a 7-6 win over Tampa Bay.

Miguel Tejada's single delivered Mora to help Baltimore win for the sixth time in seven games.

After a shaky start by Kurt Ainsworth, John Parrish (1-1), B.J. Ryan and Jorge Julio combined for four scoreless innings. Baltimore moved into first place in the American League East.

Baltimore trailed, 6-4, before Rafael Palmeiro led off the sixth with a home run off reliever Jorge Sosa. It was Palmeiro's first home run at Camden Yards since May 23, 1999 and the 530th of his career.

One inning later, Brian Roberts rapped a two-out double off Trever Miller. Mora greeted Chad Gaudin (0-1) with an RBI double, then scored on Tejada's base hit to right field.
