Steve Sullivan opened the scoring midway through the first period when he got a long outlet pass from Scott Walker and beat goaltender Manny Legace on a breakaway for his first goal of the series.

Dan Hamhuis assisted in Nashville's other two goals. With 5:39 left in the second period, he snapped a shot that Vladimir Orszagh redirected past Legace for his second playoff goal.

Greg Johnson capped the scoring just over two minutes into the third period.

Game Five is Thursday in Detroit.
