Barry Bonds hits 661st home run

SAN FRANCISCO, April 13 (UPI) -- Barry Bonds hit home run No. 661 in the seventh inning of San Francisco's game with Milwaukee Tuesday to take third place on the all-time list.

After tying Willie Mays, his godfather, on Monday, Bonds hit another homer 30 hours later.

With numerous rafts and small seacraft in the marina, the same man who retrieved Monday's homer -- Larry Ellison of Fairfield, Calif. -- again fished the ball out of the water.

Hank Aaron (755) and Babe Ruth (714) are the only players ahead of the 39-year-old Bonds on the all-time list.
