MLB: Colorado 7, Arizona 4

DENVER, April 12 (UPI) -- Colorado scored four runs off Mike Koplove and Jose Valverde in the bottom of the seventh Monday in a 7-4 win over Arizona.

With the Rockies trailing 4-3, Aaron Miles reached on an infield hit to start the seventh. After Todd Helton was intentionally walked, Koplove (0-1) walked Vinny Castilla and Jeromy Burnitz to force in the tying run.

Valverde took over for Koplove but hit Charles Johnson to put Colorado ahead, then allowed two more runs to score on a pair of wild pitches.

Brandon Webb blanked Colorado for five innings, but the Rockies erased a 3-0 deficit in the sixth on Johnson's two-run single and an RBI base hit by Kit Pellow.

Richie Sexson's run-scoring double in the top of the seventh put the Diamondbacks back in front, 4-3.

Vladimir Nunez (1-0) got the final two outs in the seventh and the win.
