MLB: Cincinnati 4, Philadelphia 1

PHILADELPHIA, April 12 (UPI) -- Cincinnati beat Philadelphia 4-1 Monday in the first game at the Phillies new ballpark.

Hall of Famers Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton and Robin Roberts were among celebrities honored in opening day festivities at the new Citizens Bank Park, but the Phillies couldn't get much going against Cincinnati's Paul Wilson and lost their fifth straight game. The win was the fifth in six games for the Reds.
