The deal came one day after the Indians sent Bradley to the minors and three days after he left the team's spring training facility following a confrontation with Manager Eric Wedge.
Bradley was pulled from an exhibition game on Wednesday for not running out a pop fly that dropped for a single. The following day, he bolted from the Indians' training complex in Winter Haven, Fla.
It was not the first time Bradley and Wedge have clashed. Last May 14 in a home game against Seattle, the manager took Bradley out of a game when he failed to run out a popout and benched him the next day.
In February, Bradley was sentenced to three days in jail for driving away from police after being stopped for speeding.
