PORTIMAO, Portugal, April 3 (UPI) -- Englishman David Lynn finished with an eagle Saturday for a 6-under 66 and a share of the third-round lead in the Algarve Open de Portugal.
Lynn, who completed 54 holes at 11-under 205, holed out on No. 18 after his 3-iron approach from 220 yards stopped 18 feet from the pin.
Garrido had a 69 and Jimenez birdied the final hole to finish at 70.
The ideal conditions produced a number of low scores as Scotland's Raymond Russell shot a 65 to match the course record. He is in a five-way tie for third with the Welsh pair of Ian Woosnam and Stephen Dodd, England's Andrew Raitt and Ireland's Peter Lawrie, last year's European Tour Rookie of the Year.
There are 17 players within three shots of the lead.
