PHILADELPHIA, March 26 (UPI) -- Philadelphia continued to win Friday night without injured superstar Allen Iverson, rolling to an 86-71 victory over Cleveland.
John Salmons scored a career-high 22 points for the 76ers, who notched their third straight win. All have come without Iverson, the three-time scoring champion who remains sidelined with a sore knee.
Since Feb. 29, Iverson has played in just five of 14 games. Philadelphia is 0-5 with him and 8-1 without him.
Salmons made eight of 13 shots, including three of four three-pointers. He had a pair of steals and did a solid defensive job on Cavaliers forward Eric Williams.
Rookie LeBron James had 16 points and seven assists for the Cavaliers (31-40), who fell into a tie for eighth with Boston.
