NHL: Anaheim 4, Nashville 1

NASHVILLE, March 23 (UPI) -- Vaclav Prospal and Sandis Ozolinsh scored power-play goals Tuesday as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim hurt Nashville's playoff chances with a 4-1 win.

Prospal opened the scoring 2:28 into the first period and Ozolinsh snapped a tie with 8:25 left in the second.

The Mighty Ducks won with special teams. They went 2-for-5 with the man advantage while Nashville was 1-for-9. Anaheim also scored a shorthanded empty-net goal with 73 seconds to play.

Scott Walker scored for the Predators, who began the night seventh in the tightly bunched Western Conference, just a point ahead of ninth-place St. Louis.
