PHILADELPHIA, March 22 (UPI) -- Kenny Thomas had 27 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists Monday to help the Philadelphia 76ers defeat the Dallas Mavericks, 107-98.
John Salmons scored a career-high 21 points and Willie Green added 19 - one shy of his career best - off the bench for the Sixers, who are 4-1 without Allen Iverson and 0-3 with the all-Star since March 8.
Iverson was a late scratch due to a sore right knee.
Philadelphia took the lead for good during an 8-0 run that opened a 26-20 advantage late in the first quarter. Salmons made 5-of-6 three-pointers.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points to pace the Mavericks, who had won four of five.
Dallas Coach Don Nelson was ejected 33 seconds into the second half for picking up two technicals, arguing a foul called on forward Eduardo Najera.
