Falcons sign Jason Webster

ATLANTA, March 5 (UPI) -- Free agent cornerback Jason Webster joined the Atlanta Falcons Friday.

Terms of Webster's contract were not disclosed.

The 26-year-old Webster has been in the NFL four years, all with the San Francisco 49ers.

He has seven career interceptions.

"Jason fits the mold of what we are trying to create on defense," Falcons General Manager Rich McKay said. "He is tough, aggressive and plays with the kind of attitude we are trying to establish."
