CLEVELAND, March 3 (UPI) -- LeBron James scored 24 points Wednesday night, several on spectacular dunks and layups, to lead Cleveland past Atlanta, 112-80.
James had nine points and Boozer eight in the first quarter to help Cleveland open a 36-19 cushion after 12 minutes. The bulge was 63-41 at the break and the Cavaliers led by as many as 40 points in the fourth quarter.
Stephen Jackson scored 20 points to pace the Hawks, who shot just 34 percent from the field en route to losing for the seventh time in 10 games.
The Hawks had little energy left after a surprising home victory 24 hours earlier over the Los Angeles Lakers.
