CHICAGO, March 1 (UPI) -- Kirk Hinrich had 22 points and capped a decisive second-quarter burst with a three-pointer Monday as Chicago posted a 92-81 triumph over Cleveland.
Hinrich chipped in eight rebounds and seven assists in his first game since becoming the only rookie this season to record a triple-double.
Eddy Curry and Antonio Davis had 18 points apiece for the Bulls, who handed the Cavaliers just their second loss in six games.
Cleveland was within 32-29 following a basket by Zydrunas Ilgauskas 3:38 into the second quarter, but Ronald Dupree had a free throw 16 seconds later to ignite a 13-1 burst.
Ilgauskas led the Cavaliers with 19 points and rookie LeBron James chipped in 18 on 7-of-17 shooting.
