NHL: Anaheim 4, Edmonton 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Two third-period goals by Joffrey Lupul Wednesday night boosted Anaheim to a 4-2 victory over Edmonton.

Edmonton missed out on a chance to sweep the season-series from Anaheim for the second straight year.

Lupul gave Anaheim a 3-1 lead 4:31 into the final period with a backhander and then put a wrister past Tommy Salo with 3:06 to play that again gave the Ducks a two-goal lead.

Niclas Havelid and Samuel Pahlsson scored for the Ducks in the second period to make it 2-0.

Anaheim is 7-3-1-2 in its last 12 contests.
