GLENDALE, Ariz., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Steve Sullivan had a goal and set up three others and Scott Walker added three assists Saturday as Nashville set a team offense record, 8-2 over Phoenix.
After spotting the Coyotes a 1-0 lead 34 seconds into the contest, Nashville erupted for eight consecutive goals, setting the team mark for most in a game. The previous high was seven, set on Nov. 26, 2000 at Carolina and equaled Thursday against San Jose.
Acquired from Chicago on Monday, Sullivan gave the Predators a 2-1 lead at 15:08 of the first period with his 20th goal.
Walker has totaled 10 points in his last three contests. Walker also has 10 points in four meetings with Phoenix this season.
Jim McKenzie and Greg Johnson each had a goal and an assist for the Predators, who have won three straight and improved to 4-1-1 in their last six games.
