ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Samuel Pahlsson scored with 4:23 remaining in the third period Wednesday night to boost Anaheim to a 3-2 win over Carolina.
The game matched the losing teams from the two most recent Stanley Cup Finals.

The Mighty Ducks posted a 3-1 victory at Carolina on Dec. 31 to move within two games under .500, but were 3-8-4-2 since then going into Wednesday night's contest.
Carolina is winless in its last four games (0-3-1) and just 3-9-2 in the last 14.
Carolina took a 2-1 lead in the second period on a shorthanded goal by Erik Cole, but Vitaly Vishnevski tied it midway through the period.
Anaheim outshot Carolina, 44-22.
