Kubina had just three goals in 22 career games against Pittsburgh prior to this season. But he has tallied three times in the first three meetings, including two power-play goals in Tuesday night's 6-2 triumph.

In this one, Kubina gave the Lightning a 2-0 lead midway through the first period with a power-play tally. The goal matched the defenseman's career best, set in 2000-01 and matched the following season.

Fedotenko set up the next three goals, giving Tampa Bay a 5-0 lead. Nikolai Khabibulin made 13 saves, allowing only Ryan Malone's breakaway goal late in the second period.
