Kubina got his goals in a 54-second span of the first period while Stillman scored twice in the third. Both players chipped in an assist to help the Lightning complete a 3

0-1 road trip.

Tampa Bay defenseman Dan Boyle was stopped on a penalty shot by rookie Marc-Andre Fleury at 8:37 of the second period. It was a lone bright spot for the top overall draft pick, who has lost 12 of his last 13 decisions.

Pittsburgh's Brian Holzinger missed a penalty shot with eight minutes left in the third.
