A former eighth-round draft pick who has spent most of the last three seasons in the AHL, Clemmensen made the most of his second NHL start. He stopped 13 shots in the first period, eight in the second and four in the third for his first career win.

Stevenson provided the offense, posting his sixth career three-point game. He put the Devils ahead for good midway through the first period, set up Jeff Friesen's 200th NHL goal in the second and capped the scoring just over 14 1/2 minutes later.

New Jersey extended its unbeaten streak to three games and avenged a 4-2 home loss to Pittsburgh on Jan. 7.

Sebastien Aubin made 16 saves for Pittsburgh, which has lost four straight.
