NHL: New Jersey 2, Washington 1 (OT)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Patrick Elias scored his second goal of the game with 2:43 left in overtime Saturday afternoon to give the New Jersey Devils a 2-1 win over Washington.

Taking advantage of traffic in front of the net, Elias buried a rebound of defenseman Brian Rafalski's point shot under the stick of goaltender Olaf Kolzig from the left of the crease for his 15th goal.
