COL BKB: Wake Forest 86, Brown 47

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Jan. 6 (UPI) -- -Eric Williams scored 14 points and Trent Strickland 13 Tuesday as No. 4 Wake Forest extended its home winning streak to 24 games, 86-47 over Brown.

The Demon Deacons have not lost at home since a 29-point defeat against Duke on Feb. 21, 2002.

Wake Forest (10-0) never trailed after scoring eight of the games first nine points and pulled away early with a 15-0 run. Strickland scored six points and Williams added five during the spurt, which gave the Deacons a 29-7 cushion just 13 1/2 minutes into the game.

Luke Ruscoe scored 14 points and was the only player in double figures for Brown (3-9), which has lost seven of its last eight games.
