Atlanta 93, Boston 88

ATLANTA, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 12 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter Tuesday as the Atlanta Hawks held on for a 93-88 triumph over the Boston Celtics.

With 2:19 left, Abdur-Rahim hit a jumper to break an 83-83 tie. Vin Baker made a layup at the other end to tie it, but Abdur-Rahim responded by driving for a baby hook shot, then made six free throws in the final minute.

Aside from a jumper by Jason Terry with 2:50 left, Abdur-Rahim was the Hawks' only scorer over the last 4:22.

Dion Glover scored 18 points for Atlanta, which trailed until Theo Ratliff dunked off an alley-oop feed from Dion Glover to make it 58-56 with 3:49 to go in the third quarter.
