MONTREAL, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Saku Koivu and Sheldon Souray each had a goal and assist Monday as Montreal continued its dominance of Pittsburgh with a 4-1 victory.
After setting up a goal by Pierre Dagenais in the first period, Koivu put in a rebound of Souray's shot 8:47 into the second to give Montreal a 2-0 lead.

Tomas Surovy got Pittsburgh on the board 4 1/2 minutes later, but Souray continued his career season at 13:16 with his 12th goal.
Niklas Sundstrom added an empty-netter as the Canadiens improved to 13-3-2 in the last 18 meetings with the Penguins.
Jose Theodore stopped 16 shots to improve to 10-3-1 lifetime vs. Pittsburgh.
Sebastien Caron made 33 saves for the Penguins, whose road winless streak was extended to nine games (0-6
3).
