NEW HAVEN, Conn., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Oklahoma quarterback Jason White has been named one of five finalists for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.
White has set a single-season school record with 40 touchdown passes, completing 238-of-364 passes for 3,446 yards. The top-ranked Sooners face Kansas State this weekend in the Big 12 Conference championship game.
Fitzgerald set an NCAA record with at least one touchdown catch in 18 straight games. He has 87 receptions this season for an NCAA-leading 1,595 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Manning has passed for 3,341 yards and 27 TDS, leading the Rebels to a share of the SEC West title.
Rivers, who holds virtually every ACC career passing record, has thrown for 4,016 yards with 29 scores with just seven interceptions.
Perry paced the Big Ten in rushing with 1,589 yards and 17 scores.
The winner will be announced on Feb. 14.
