College football on Friday this weekend

BOULDER, Colo., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- LSU can clinch the SEC West Division title Friday afternoon with a win over Arkansas as the holiday weekend on the gridiron continues.

A victory would also earn the Tigers (10-1) their second trip to the conference championship game in three years. They were in the same position last year, but the Razorbacks prevailed, 21-20.

The Tigers are third in the latest BCS standings and need to pass second-ranked USC (10-1) to earn a berth in the Sugar Bowl. They might need some help along the way, but right now, Coach Nick Saban is concerned only with Arkansas and not the baffling formula of the BCS.

"I think sometimes when you start thinking about all that other stuff, it is just the kind of clutter that can affect your ability to prepare and focus," Saban said.

Also Friday, it's Nebraska at Colorado, Miami (Ohio) at Central Florida, Texas at Texas A&M, and Arizona at Arizona State.
