Celts active reserve LaFrentz

BOSTON, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- The Boston Celtics Friday activated 6-11 reserve forward-center Raef LaFrentz, who had been out for two weeks with right knee tendinitis.

Acquired in October in the five-player trade that sent Antoine Walker to Dallas, LaFrentz has averaged 8.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in 22.3 minutes off the bench for Boston. He experienced soreness in the knee after scoring eight points in an 89-82 loss to Chicago on Nov. 12.

To make room for LaFrentz, the Celtics placed rookie forward Kendrick Perkins on the injured list.
