McNabb among weekly NFL honorees

NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Quarterback Donovan McNabb of Philadelphia has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

In the NFC, he was joined by Green Bay linebacker Nick Barnett (defense) and kick returner Bobby Engram of Seattle. Earning honors in the AFC were Denver tight end Shannon Sharpe (offense), Oakland cornerback Phillip Buchanon (defense), and kick returner Peter Warrick (special teams).

McNabb, who has struggled with a thumb injury all season, was 24-of-30 for 314 yards with two touchdown passes and no interceptions in the Eagles' 28-10 win over the New York Giants. He had a single-game passer rating of 132.5.

It is the fourth time McNabb has earned the award.

Warrick also had a huge day for the Bengals. His 68-yard punt return for a touchdown was the catalyst for the Bengals' 24-19 win over previously unbeaten Kansas City.

Warrick also had a 77-yard pass reception for a touchdown, 114 yards on six catches, and set a career high with four punt returns for 87 yards.
