Hamilton Jr. bumps way to victory

MILLINGTON, Tenn., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Bobby Hamilton Jr. bumped his way past Johnny Sauter with less than three laps remaining to win Saturday's NASCAR Busch Series Sam's Town 250.

Hamilton was in Sauter's mirror for more than 20 laps before deciding to force his way past with a couple of bumps in the rear end. Driving a Ford Taurus, he went on to his third victory of the season and fourth career.

Jason Keller also took advantage of Sauter's wiggle and moved up to finish second, also in a Ford. Sauter settled for third in a Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Ron Hornaday was fourth and Brian Vickers fifth as he took over the points lead with his 12th top-five this year.

Vickers has a 23-point advantage over David Green, who lost a cylinder and finished 19th, giving away his 36-point lead.
