MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Garrett Rivas' 33-yard field goal with 47 seconds left Friday night capped a 31-point fourth quarter and gave Michigan a stunning 38-35 win over Minnesota.

Minnesota opened a 28-7 lead late in the third quarter. Michigan -- shut out in the first half -- rallied behind John Navarre and Chris Perry.

Navarre threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Perry early in the fourth quarter. Cornerback Jacob Stewart then intercepted a pass from Asad Abdul-Khaliq and raced 34 yards for a score.

Abdul-Khaliq next ran 52 yards, giving the No. 13 Golden Gophers (6-1, 2-1 Big Ten) a 35-21 lead with 11:11 remaining.

But Navarre hit Braylon Edwards with a 53-yard toss less than a minute later. Perry's 10-yard run tied it with 5:48 left tied it.
