Cleveland 33, Pittsburgh 13

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Quarterback Tim Couch led the Cleveland Browns to a 33-13 rout of AFC North Division rival Pittsburgh Sunday night.

Couch completed all but one of 17 passes in the first half as the Browns ran up a 13-point lead. The Steelers never got close after that.

The Browns quarterback, filling in for the injured Kelly Holcomb, finished 20 of 25 for 208 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown.

Cleveland cornerback Daylon McCutcheon returned an interception 75 yards for another score and William Green carried 33 times for 115 rushing yards for the Browns.

Pittsburgh quarterback Tommy Maddox, under heavy pressure from Cleveland's defense much of the game, completed 11 of 24 passes for just 124 yards. He was intercepted twice.
